Worth it!
Highlights of the trip were the visit up Mount Etna, visiting the pistachio farm, the Greek ruins, and staying at the gorgeous resort in Menfi. Of course, the cooking experiences were memorable too!

Our trip with CDV to Sicily was a step off our usual path of travel. For one, the trip was much more expensive than we usually pay for our travels. Happy to report that the money was well worth it, though! Pretty much all costs were included and we never had to open our wallets while enjoying refreshing aperitvos, fabulous meals, and unforgettable experiences. The tour was so well curated with stays at beautiful and unique lodgings, and unique experiences that we would never have been able to do on our own. Next, we don't usually do group tours, so were apprehensive about this part of the experience. Limiting the size of the group (ours had only 13 guests), and providing a wonderful, experienced, thoughtful local host, made this all work out for the better. With a small group, the host was able to be flexible and try to accommodate everyone's needs. Now, we are considering that this is the new version of how we prefer to travel, with CDV of course. Yes! This trip is worth it! Yes, it will be a trip of a lifetime! Yes, you will make new friends and feel like family! And yes, yes, yes, you should go!
